Transcript URL: WISEdata
NEW! for the 2026-27 School Year: School Directory collects a URL, or web address, for the website that provides information about how to obtain high school transcripts from a local education agency.
This mandatory URL is a companion data element to:
- the optional Transcript/Graduation Record Contact person. This is an agency level data element that mostly pertains to schools with students in grade 12.
- the WISEdata Graduation Status Opt-Out data element. This Yes/No value is determined at the agency level to include graduation status as part of its directory data.
NOTE: The person making changes to the School Directory Management Portal application must have the user role of “Directory Update." If you do not hold this user role, you must request it from your District Security Administrator (DSA) or your Application Administrator. Request access in WISEhome, and the appropriate administrator can assign this role to you from WISEsecure.
Uses
This school directory data element is used to obtain information from the LEA about how to obtain high school transcripts. Directory data is defined by Wis. Stat.§§118.125(2)(j)(1).

This data element is required for public schools and Choice schools.
- This Transcript URL aligns with the Transcript/Graduation Record Contact, an optional School Directory contact. This person is an agency-level contact and subject matter expert about the agency’s policies and procedures for obtaining high school transcripts (e.g., registrar, guidance counselors, assistant principals, records clerk in school business office, etc.).
