About the Data
The Coursework dashboards in WISEdash for Districts include:
- Course Enrollment
- Course Student Enrollment by Subgroup
- Arts Participation by Subgroup
- Postsecondary Preparation by Subgroup
Student counts displayed in Coursework data are distinct student counts. For example, if a student took Algebra in Semester 1 and Semester 2, the student is only counted as taking Algebra once.
Each dashboard that breaks down the data by subgroup includes the "Group by" filter. This allows you to compare participation by students in different groups. For instance, you might be concerned about access to the arts for students who have different disabilities. Use the Arts Participation by Subgroup Dashboard to compare metrics like how many students with autism versus how many students with an intellectual disability participated in the arts last year. After you export the data to an Excel file, you can calculate the percentage of students in each group participating. For guidance, follow the steps on the Filter and Export Data in WISEdash page.

Access the Dashboards
- Log in to WISEdash for Districts.
- Near the upper-left corner, click Dashboards.
- Click Topics.
- Under the Coursework header, select the dashboard you need.
- Once you are in your chosen dashboard, notice the other coursework dashboards display as options across the top of the window, just above your chosen dashboard.
