Microsoft Learn vs. Technical Incentive Grant

Wisconsin high schools have an opportunity to select one of two programs to assist educators and students in earning industry recognized credentials (IRC). These programs were identified as a strategy to engage students in learning industry-leading technology skills. Participation in either program is voluntary, and participation should be reviewed annually to best meet the needs of the district's overall goals. To learn more, review the two programs listed below.

The Microsoft Learn for Educators and Certification program is made possible by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to Wisconsin educators to have continuous access to the Microsoft Learn curriculum resources and certification site licenses for this school year, at no cost. Pursuant to s. 115.455 Wis. The Wisconsin Career and Technical Education (CTE) Technical Incentive Grant program works collaboratively with the Department of Workforce Development (DWD), the Department of Public Instruction (DPI), Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS), and schools/districts to receive grant dollars based on the completion of required documentation.
