We are excited to announce that Jennifer Buros has accepted the position of Assistant Director for the School Financial Services Team. In this position, Jennifer will be responsible for managing the administration of state general and categorical school aids, school district revenue limits, school district auditing and accounting requirements, school finance reporting, and other school finance provisions. She will be working with and supervising SFS consultants and SFS auditors.
Jennifer has over 24 years of experience as a Wisconsin school district business manager. For the past 18 years she has worked as the Director of Business Services at Westby School District. Prior to working in school districts, Jennifer worked for an accounting firm that audited school districts. Jennifer is also a certified public accountant and has a school business administrator license.
Outside of work, Jennifer likes to spend time with her family and friends, travel and camping. She is excited for this new position and looks forward to working at DPI.
Jennifer will be starting in her new role on Monday, November 20.
