FCC Opens 2nd ECF Application Window Sept. 28 - Oct. 13

Second Emergency Connectivity Fund application window

On August 25 the Federal Communications Commission announced that it will open a second Emergency Connectivity Fund application window to provide funding for the current school year. During the second window, which will run from September 28 to October 13, schools and libraries can apply for funds to pay for eligible equipment and services for students, school staff, and library patrons with unmet needs. Program rules and eligible items remain the same as they were in the initial window. Funding is available to support off-campus learning, such as homework, even if schools have returned to full time in-person instruction. Schools and libraries that did not apply in the first round or those that applied initially and now have additional requests can apply during this second window.
