Event Description

This meeting is to enable the Office of Educational Accountability (OEA) assessment team to consult with its Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), comprised of three national experts, on technical matters related to statewide student assessments administered by the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). OEA will use input received from the TAC to help ensure that DPI’s assessments are of high quality and meet federal and state statutory requirements.

Topics that will be discussed with the TAC include :

  • Federal peer review
  • Forward Exam equating
  • English learner assessment

Message regarding public participation: This meeting is not for public comment, if you have comments or questions related to the state assessment system, please send them to DPIOSAmail@dpi.wi.gov. Our technical advisers are experts whom we are paying by the hour so our time with them today is being reserved to handle assessment questions of a highly technical nature.
