State Superintendent’s Academic Standards Review Council

Event Description

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has a transparent and comprehensive process for reviewing and revising academic standards. The State Superintendent’s Academic Standards Review Council (SSARC) has an important role in supporting the standards review process and provides a diverse community perspective that impacts teaching and learning across Wisconsin. This meeting will focus on examining public input gathered from stakeholders across the state (including the public, key stakeholders, educators, and the Legislature) and make a recommendation regarding review and/or revision for the various sets of academic standards.
