The mission of SSEDAC is to provide the Department of Public Instruction with a single, comprehensive, and coordinated source of review and advice on automated systems and data collection strategies, plans, designs, products, and services; and to advise the department on how such systems and services can best improve understanding, inform decision making, enhance data accuracy, and reduce reporting burdens.
