Did you know there are scholarships available through the Wisconsin Library Association? They are for continuing education! Conferences! Librarians seeking their Master’s Degrees!
And did you know scholarships are due on June 15?!
Read more about scholarships available to those pursuing a career in Library Sciences:
- Library Education Scholarship - $1,400 for those who are pursuing a Master’s or Library Media degree.
- Sally Davis Scholarship - $1,350 for those pursuing a Master’s degree at UW Madison
- Vida Cummins Stanton Scholarship - $1,600 for those pursuing a Master’s degree at UW Milwaukee
- Diversity Scholarship - $950 for those African-American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian/Pacific Islander or Native American/Alaskan Native students pursuing a librarian degree

- George Bauer Memorial Fund Continuing Education Scholarship - $850 for those planning on attending a workshop, conference, or other continuing education program within or outside Wisconsin
- Gloria Hoegh Memorial Fund Education for Rural Librarians Scholarship - $900 for those employees at libraries serving populations of 5,000 or less and who plan on attending a workshop, conference, or other continuing education program within or outside Wisconsin
If you are thinking about applying for the George Bauer or the Gloria Hoegh Scholarships, considering using those funds to attend the Wisconsin Library Association Conference, which will be held in person November 16-19 in Green Bay.
