DCF and WEDC Survey: Wisconsin's Workforce and Access to Early Care and Education for Children

Friday, November 19, 2021

Dear District Administrators,

The Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation have partnered together to survey Wisconsin business leaders about how early care and education impacts your organization. While this is not specifically targeted at school districts, and not required, as large employers across the state you may want your voice heard through this survey on child care needs for your employees. Again, this is not required.

The goal of this survey is to understand:

  • Your experiences with your workforce and their child care needs
  • Challenges your workforce is experiencing related to child care
  • Steps your organization has taken to address these needs and/or challenges
  • Challenges your organization is facing in addressing these needs

These insights will help to shape a new grant program that will be made available in 2022 to support businesses and early care and education providers. There are no right or wrong answers and your feedback will remain completely anonymous.

We ask that you please complete the survey no later than Wednesday, December 1, 2021. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete.

If you have questions regarding how the results of this survey will be used, please contact wipdg@wisconsin.gov. Should you have any logistical questions about the survey or problems with the survey tool itself, please contact Allison Trapp (ATrapp@kw2madison.com). We thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
