Summer Institute: A Multi-Generational Approach to Holocaust and Social Justice Education

Wednesday, February 21, 2018

The Olga Lengyel Institute for Holocaust Studies and Human Rights (TOLI) is offering a week-long seminar in Fox Point, WI from July 16-21, 2018.  It is designed for teachers who seek to deepen their content knowledge and explore best practices in Holocaust education.  There will be a field trip to the IL Holocaust Memorial Museum and Education Center in Skokie, IL, and a visit to a local synagogue.  There will be a Holocaust survivor presenting his testimony to teachers, as well.

As far as I can tell, this opportunity is FREE for teachers.

Participants will receive copies of Holocaust-related books, the award-winning Echoes and Reflections curriculum, admission to the Milwaukee Jewish Museum and the IL Holocaust Memorial Museum, and most meals.  There is limited subsidized lodging available for commuters.
