The Department of Public Instruction is seeking applicants for two Library Consultant positions on the Library Services Team in the Division for Libraries and Technology.
These positions provide statewide leadership and consultation on public library services and programs. These positions require professional knowledge of public libraries, regional library systems or cooperatives; project management; and facilitation and consultation techniques. The library consultants will provide services directed at all age groups, including children, teens, and adults. Additionally, these positions will work with library staff in the field to ensure that library services are inclusive and serve all residents of Wisconsin. The incumbents will carry out planning and project work related to the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) 5-year Plan for Wisconsin, as well as other projects that further the Library Services Team mission of empowering Wisconsin libraries to best serve their communities.
