Recorded Webinar: Unemployment Insurance Basics: Assisting Library Patrons

The wave of Wisconsin residents needing to file for Unemployment Insurance benefits continues to rise in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Potential filers often reach out to their local library for help, and library staff working remotely have been responding to questions about the process. In response, the Libraries Activating Workforce Development Skills (LAWDS) project organized a webinar to provide detailed training on the process. On Monday, May 18^th, Ann Astin, of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, presented a one-hour webinar and responded to questions from attendees.
