This is the department's decision regarding that complaint. The issues are whether the district, after March 24, 2004, implemented a student's individualized education program (IEP) regarding the provision of support for reading and reading text books from MATC.
On May 17, 2006, the Department of Public Instruction received a complaint under state and federal special education law from XXXXX against the Johnson Creek School District. This is the departments decision regarding that complaint. The issue is whether the district, during the 2005-2006 school year, provided required special education services to a child with a disability utilizing properly licensed teaching staff.
