The Title I team would like to remind everyone of several Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA/ESEA) deadlines that are coming up!
ESEA End-of-Year Report due in WISEgrants on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
The annual ESEA End-of-Year (EOY) Report in WISEgrants is due to DPI by Thursday, August 31, 2023.
- LEAs can access the screen by navigating to the blue menu bar and selecting Programs > ESEA > End-of-Year Report > 2022-2023 (Current Reporting Year)
- LEAs are required to report on FY22-23 activities in these reports
- The ESEA EOY Report technical assistance document has additional information regarding the EOY Report

Titles I, II, and IV applications are due Thursday, August 31, 2023
Initial grant applications for Titles I, II and IV are due in WISEgrants on Thursday, August 31, 2023. Questions regarding the specific grant applications can be directed to the LEA’s assigned consultant:
- Title I, Part A, Consultant Directory
- Title I, Part D, Neglected and Delinquent: Kimberly Jenkins
- Title II, Part A: Abdallah Bendada
- Title IV, Part A: Emily Holder, Amy Bires
Review the FY2023-24 Final Allocations for Title I-A online. Please note that enrollment collection for the ESEA grants has changed significantly; refer to the ESEA Centralized Enrollment technical assistance document for more information.
Final ESEA claims for FY22-23
Final claims for the 2022-23 ESEA grants are due in WISEgrants on September 30, 2023. LEAs may continue to submit budget revisions as necessary to meet their needs. If a final claim was already submitted, LEAs can still submit a new claim by submitting a “revised final claim” if necessary.
