Why community schools?
Community schools are designed to produce a range of positive student outcomes. Many of these include higher academic performance, increase in student attendance, and reductions in drop out. Community schools promote more instructional time, positive school climates, and family and community engagement. A result associated with community schools is improved mental and physical health for students and community members.
