Event Description
The Forward Exam is a part of the Wisconsin Student Assessment System and is a required assessment for all students. Students in grades 3-8 take the Forward Exam online in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics, in Science in grades 4 and 8, and Social Studies in grades 4, 8, and 10. The Forward Exam is an online summative assessment that measures what students know in relation to the Wisconsin Academic Standards. The testing window for the Forward Exam is from March 18 to April 26. All student in grades 3-8, and 10 will take the Forward Exam with the exception of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities who will take the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM), Wisconsin's Alternate Assessment, during the DLM testing window, March 18 to April 26, 2024.
