MADISON — State Superintendent Tony Evers joined nine community and school partners for a press conference this morning at City Hall in Milwaukee to launch the Hot Summer Milwaukee initiative. His statement follows.
“The Hot Summer Milwaukee initiative is a testament to the dedication of the many education partners in the city that care about improving the lives of kids. Expanding opportunities for fun summer learning will help keep Milwaukee’s youth engaged and safe. The willingness to address important issues that improve the community and the schools will help propel Milwaukee forward. I’m glad to be a part of this collaborative work.”
