MADISON — State Superintendent Tony Evers issued a statement today on Milwaukee Public Schools Superintendent Darienne Driver’s strategic plan to improve education for children in Milwaukee.
“Dr. Driver is a steadfast leader and strong advocate for the kids of Milwaukee. I am confident that the plans she has outlined will result in meaningful improvements for the district and, most importantly, the students it serves. As a state, we share a collective interest in the success of Milwaukee and all of its schools. I look forward to working with Dr. Driver, her staff, and the talented educators of MPS to carry out their vision.”
