Kowalczyk, a reading specialist at Patrick Marsh Middle School in Sun Prairie, will receive the award during the association’s annual conference Oct. 25-27 in Orlando, Fla.

Having educators recognized nationally speaks to the quality of teachers we have in Wisconsin. Sandra is a former Wisconsin Teacher of the Year and valued member of our Teacher of the Year Council. She is a passionate advocate for middle level teachers and students.
