The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction's Library Services Team is celebrating our state's library staff, volunteers, and supporters during National Library Week, April 7-13.
Assistant State Superintendent for the Division for Libraries and Technology, Dr. Darrell Williams, kicked off the week with a solar eclipse viewing at the Kohler Public Library which shares the same space as the Kohler Elementary, Middle, and High School.

He continued to Sheboygan to visit Mead Public Library and attend the 100th Anniversary Celebration of Sheboygan Falls Memorial Public Library. Dr. Williams will be visiting various public and school libraries across the state to express gratitude to our librarians and highlight the exceptional work and support they offer to their students communities, particularly all-age literacy.

Please take a moment to read Dr. Williams' guest editorial, as he extends thanks to our school and public librarians for their dedication and tireless efforts in meeting the needs of our communities.
