Guest post by the WLA Youth Services Section

Join the Wisconsin Library Association (WLA) for the next installment of the popular YSS Presents webinar series on Thursday, May 9, 2004 from 3:00 - 4:00p.m.

Jessica Oakland, physical therapist, and Hannah Delaney, speech-language pathologist from Progressive Beginnings Rehab Agency, will discuss how to incorporate OT/PT/ST into libraries and library programs, and the fun and creative ways we can promote child development through activities, songs, and crafts. Registration is free for WLA members ($25 for nonmembers).

Visit the YSS page on the WLA website to learn more. Registration closes May 9 at noon.

The WLA's Youth Services Section (YSS) advocates for professional empowerment, collaboration, and innovative, inclusive, and intentional service. To that end, YSS provides a forum and resources for people in Wisconsin's libraries who share a commitment to serving children and young adults, their parents, caregivers, and teachers. It is a vital, dynamic group whose interests focus on providing quality library service and encouraging literacy and library use.
