In preparation for the 2023 Public Library Annual Report, a What’s New summary is now posted by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. The summary includes instructions on how to fill in and submit the annual report, a worksheet, and several training slide decks.
Library system and local directors are encouraged to review What’s New for the 2023 Annual Report.
Use the worksheet to begin gathering your library’s statistics before the on-line collection window opens in January 2024. In addition, an overview of the Annual Report is available which details what information is collected, why the annual report is necessary, and how statistics gathered are used.
To help in the reporting, a set of three presentations are available to provide guidance on how program and activity statistics are reported as well as a spreadsheet tool to assist in gathering the required information throughout the calendar year.
