Event Description

The ACT with writing is a part of the Wisconsin Student Assessment System and is a required assessment for all students in Grade 11. The ACT with writing consists of four multiple-choice tests: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science, and a 40-minute essay test that measures Writing skills. The ACT can be used for college enrollment, scholarships, and NCAA eligibility requirements. The first of three testing window for the ACT with writing is from March 12-22. For additional testing dates refer to the ACT Calendar webpage. All student in grades 11 will take the Forward Exam with the exception of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities who will take the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM), Wisconsin's Alternate Assessment, during the DLM testing window, March 18 to April 26, 2024. More information about the ACT with writing is available on the ACT with writing webpages.
