DPI Media Line, (608) 266-3559MADISON — The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction will hold an administrative rules hearing to accept public testimony on proposed changes to permanent rules related to licensing of pupil services professionals.
The proposed rules seek to amend Wis. Admin. Code sec. PI 34, related to the following:
- Clearinghouse Rule 20-082, amending PI 34 to clarify and create flexibility around licensing rules for pupil services professionals, which include school nurses, school psychologists, and school social workers.
The DPI will hold the public hearing by teleconference only. Additional information on attending is provided below. Written comments received no later than the date of the hearing will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
Copies of the proposed rules are available on the department's Administrative Rules webpage or the Wisconsin Legislature Rules site. Written comments may be made via the legislature’s webpage for submitting public comment. Questions or additional testimony may be sent by email to the department’s administrative rules coordinator.
