Language Instruction Begin & End Dates: WISEdata

The Language Instruction Begin Date refers to the month, day, and year on which the student first began receiving language instruction services. The Language Instruction End Date refers to the month, day, and year on which the student exited the language instruction program or stopped receiving services for the school year being reported. Generally, the begin and end dates will match the begin and end dates of the student's enrollment.

Submit both dates in mm/dd/yyyy format.

USES: Language instruction data will be used for disaggregated reporting and accountability purposes, including State Report Cards, ESSA Report Cards, and Title III. They are also used as a measure of the acquisition of English language proficiency and to determine the appropriate participation in WSAS.
