Dear District Administrators,
The Department of Public Instruction (DPI) appreciates how much work you have already put into preparing your staff data for the preliminary deadline, but we want to remind you that the deadline for WISEstaff final certification is March 21, 2023. DPI needs your data submitted for final certification by this date or it will not be included for public release and the final license audit. This data is also one of the inputs to the Special Education Categorical Aid program.
The WISEstaff collection has been open since September 29, 2022 and the preliminary audit results were communicated to districts and LEAs on January 12, 2023. Several reminders have been communicated to your WISEstaff administrators since the collection opened.
If you have not already begun or need to complete this process, log in to the WISEstaff application and update your WISEstaff contact information (Resources > Update Contact Info). After that, log in to the WISEid application and upload your staff person records prior to beginning your contract and/or assignment file uploads..
