Event Description

Learn how to include nature exploration in your early childhood classroom by using Project Learning Tree’s Environmental Experiences for Early Childhood. Created to be developmentally appropriate for ages 3-6, PLT’s interactive environmental education activities address different learning styles while integrating nature exploration, literature, art, and music & movement into 30 learning experiences. In this workshop we will get hands-on with many different indoor and outdoor activities, discuss how to get early childhood students outside in all seasons, and explore how nature play can become an everyday part of student learning. PLT’s Early Childhood curriculum is correlated with the Head Start Child Outcomes Framework and the NAEYC standards.

Registry credit is available for this workshop.
