Step Outside Into Learning Workshop

Event Description

Curious about teaching outdoors, but unsure what you need for success with learning outside the four walls of a classroom? LEAF’s Step Outside Into Learning workshop will provide you with lesson plans, classroom management strategies and firsthand experience teaching and modeling outdoor lessons for your students. Participants will become comfortable teaching outside on any type of school grounds, from urban concrete to rural forests. You will also receive training and a hard-copy of Project Learning Tree’s Explore Your Environment activity guide and LEAF Forestry Education lessons as part of the workshop.

This class fulfills the Wisconsin Environmental Education Stipulation.
