Middle School: AI Safety Infographic -- NEW DUE DATE DECEMBER 31, 2024

Contest: Challenge students to design an infographic that explains key points about staying safe online and using AI responsibly. They can use digital tools or create hand-drawn posters.

Output: The infographic must be able to be uploaded to this form. This could be in any format chosen by the educator or student.

Why it works: Infographics are a great way to condense information into an easy-to-understand format, and this project helps students practice their research and design skills.

AI Safety Infographic Contest Rubric

The rubric below provides the criteria that will be used to evaluate submissions for the AI Safety Infographic Contest. Each criterion is rated on a scale from 1 to 3, with 1 being the lowest score and 3 being the highest. The total possible score is 15 points.

The image is a rubric table used to assess infographics, with six criteria: Content Accuracy, Visual Design, Clarity and Readability, Use of Tools/Creativity, and Upload Format. Each criterion has four performance levels: 3 - Exemplary, 2 - Proficient, 1 - Developing, and 0 - Incomplete.
