ESSER III Out-of-School Time Grant Opportunity Announcement

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) 21 and Wisconsin State Motion 57 have authorized two funding streams to support Out-of-School Time (OST) programs.

This is a competitive grant process for the development and implementation of evidence-based OST programs to address the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on students. Out-of-School Time programs must address academic, social, emotional, and mental health needs of identified students.

There will be one application process with 3 rounds of funding.

Eligible Applicants Wisconsin Local Education Agencies (LEAs)
(Districts and Independent Charter Schools)
eligible for sparsity aid under Wis Stat 115.436
All Wisconsin Public School LEAs
(Districts and Independent Charter Schools)
Wisconsin LEAs (District and Independent Charter Schools)
Community Based Organizations (CBOs)

Important Deadlines

Application Due: October 14, 2022, 4:00 p.m. CST
Notification: December 2022
Grant Duration: December 1, 2022-September 30, 2024
