October is National Principals Month

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Each year, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the American Federation of School Administrators, and the National Association of Secondary School Principals work with the United States Congress to designate October as National Principals Month.

In a proclamation, State Superintendent Carolyn Stanford Taylor outlines the many important roles principals and associate principals play each day in schools. She thanks them for their leadership and continued contributions to the teachers, students, families, and community members of Wisconsin.

You can show your appreciation for your principal and assistant principal on social media this month by using the hashtag #ThankAPrincipal.
