Play Make Learn Conference Brings Together Professionals in Education and Gaming

The 2022 Play Make Learn Conference is still seeking submissions to present at the event, which provides unique learning opportunities for a wide range of professionals in education and gaming. The event will be held Aug. 8-9, 2022 at Memorial Union on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
 
The conference gives attendees a chance to grow their knowledge in game design, arts integration, personalized learning, and making and learning. Educators, researchers, developers, designers, foundation leaders, policy makers, museum and library professionals, and school leaders who are dedicated to promoting making, gaming, and playful learning are encouraged to attend. Sessions at the event are organized around the following strands:
 
  • Game design and game play
  • Making and makerspaces
  • Arts integration in both formal and informal spaces
  • Personalized learning
  • Early childhood

Those seeking to present at the conference have an opportunity to collaborate and discover in the design, research and practice of gaming, makerspaces, classrooms and the arts.
