This year, the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) designated the week of October 21-25 as School Bus Safety Week.
A new video from the NAPT and Student Transportation America provides information about how much safer school buses are compared to other forms of transportation to school for the millions of children they transport each day.
The video emphasizes school bus safety not only in October but year-round. Major safety design features inside and outside of school buses are examined, along with school bus driver training, and data on how students get to school.
