Each year, the month of April is designated as National Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month. In Wisconsin, this month is recognized as Family Strengthening Month.
The Wisconsin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Board partners each year with the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families and Prevent Child Abuse Wisconsin to create a toolkit filled with ideas, activities and resources to encourage community-based prevention efforts not only during April, but throughout the year.
