Return to School Post COVID-19: ELA, Literacy, and Mathematics

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Literacy and Mathematics Team recently published guidance and considerations to address unfinished English language arts, literacy, and mathematics learning within the following categories:

The information in each category is aimed at supporting schools in planning for a return to a more predictable learning environment post COVID-19, focusing on students’ strengths. Information includes specific resources for providing grade-level instruction in literacy, English language arts, and mathematics with different access points, scaffolds, instructional frameworks, alongside priority instructional content while building safe classroom communities.
