Join us in this hybrid professional development event as we explore Project Learning Tree activities that can be used with K-8 students who are learning at home. Whether your students have access to a neighborhood park or only a small outdoor space near their sidewalk, we will try out activities that help them stay connected to nature while they learn more about their environment. Participants will receive their choice of a paper copy or e-book version of PLT’s K-8 Environmental Education Activity Guide, along with some supplies to be used in the hands-on portion of the workshop.
This workshop will include one hour of individual pre-work to be completed before we all meet together on Wednesday, September 30th from 4:00 – 6:00 via Zoom. Please register by September 16th to ensure that your materials arrive on time.
Please note: this workshop is intended for formal classroom educators, though homeschool parents are welcome to attend.
