Recognition of Commitment and Service

About the process
Upon request, the department produces certificates to honor those who have served in the education field. This covers any staff working in the school setting, including teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals, food service, grounds staff, support staff, etc. All requests for certificates must come through this form. The certificates are customized for each retiree, are printed on parchment paper, contain the state superintendent's signature, and have a gold state seal. The department is continuously collecting requests and produces certificates on a regular basis.
