Listening Sessions Fall 2022

Thursday, September 8, 2022

Over the past five years DPI has partnered with truly passionate coaches across the state of Wisconsin who are committed to the continuous improvement of a suite of coaching tools and resources. This work began with the creation and improvement of the foundational Coaching Competency Practice Profile (CCPP). All other tools and resources have grown from the CCPP and encompass a host of coaching supports including 1) a coaching system development worksheet, 2) a self assessment tool and 3) a coaching rubric and user guide for Educator Effectiveness.

There are other valuable resources on The DPI Coaching webpage with more drafts in the works. If you are new to the foundational coaching documents, you may be interested in an important upcoming learning opportunity.

This fall, a series of listening sessions will be available to folks interested in learning more about the tools. The sessions will be short-no longer than thirty minutes with fifteen minutes of Q&A- and will provide real-time, relevant and applicable ways to incorporate them into your coaching systems. The sessions are free and open to anyone who would like to attend, but the target audience is a coach (or coaches) attending alongside a leader or leadership team. Below you will find a brief description of the resources that will be highlighted in the listening sessions, why they are important and how you might anticipate using them in your own building or district.

Choose to sign up for one or all of the listening sessions. Listen in as we showcase resources developed by coaches, for coaches and in support of coaching systems. The sessions are open to all, so please share with colleagues and leaders. Simply fill out the three question sign up form and you will receive a calendar invite with a zoom link.
