This webinar plug into the current fascination concerning Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies. Use it to describe the key functions of money and explore the role a stable money system and sound investment play in helping people prosper and achieve financial security. Presenter: Tawni Hunt Ferrarini, Plaster Professor of Economic Education, Lindenwood University Dr. Ferrarini is the Robert W. Plaster Professor for Economic Education at Lindenwood University and is nationally active in promoting the advancement of economic and financial literacy across the United States and around the globe. She served as the 2015 President for the National Association of Economic Educators and is known widely for her research on successfully integrating technology trends into high school and college spaces. Accolades include receiving a distinguished faculty award at Northern Michigan University and serving as a distinguished scholar on the board of the Council for Economic Education – Japan. Dr. Ferrarini has a BA in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University and a PhD in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis
