“SAFELY IN, SAFELY OUT”: TEACHING THE HOLOCAUST WITHOUT TRAUMATIZING

Register Online -- In teaching about the Holocaust, we try to convey the "choiceless choices" that the victims were forced to make and the moral and ethical decisions they faced. How much can be safely taught without traumatizing our students? Are there differences between how we teach middle and high school students? Nurit Davidson, a Yad Vashem educator, will help participants understand ways to teach about this topic without traumatizing.
