Continuing Focus on the Digital Equity Gap

Continuity of learning remains a critical equity issue facing Wisconsin schools even as students and educators return to in-person instruction. It is important to continue supporting schools’ efforts to get students connected to high quality, affordable internet where they live to ensure equitable access for learning outside of school buildings.

This year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction continues to support schools and libraries as they work to get students access to the internet and devices they need through initiatives including:
