There are significant shifts in pedagogy and student expectations with the revised WI Standards for Social Studies. This session will introduce shifts in pedagogy and student expectations in the new standards, learn about the inquiry arc, an essential part of quality social studies teaching and learning, and provide time to unpack and repack the standards. *Future WISSS workshops will assume attendees have learned this material*

This is part of a CESA 10 workshop series on the revised social studies standards.  Additional dates include Feb 4, 2019 (disciplinary literacy), Feb 6, 2019 (elementary), April 2, 2019 (state requirements), and June 11, 2019 (civic engagement and reflection).
