Literacy Classroom Instructional Practices Bank
The purpose of this resource is to provide K-12 educators with a bank of effective, research-based instructional practices that can be used in the classroom to support instruction in the Wisconsin Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy in All Subjects. These practices are organized by the strands at the cluster level.
The bank includes instructional practices shown to be effective through research and experience in the field. Practices have been drawn from a range of empirical studies published in peer-reviewed publications, professional literature, and practitioner books. Specific sources used are cited for each practice. To access the Literacy Classroom Instructional Practices Bank, please visit the Literacy Practices Bank.
