Not every filing goes smoothly. Sometimes applicants need to:
- File after the 471 filing deadline
- Revise their Form 471 after filing it
- Have their application reviewed by PIA (this is very common)
- Have an application rejected, and choose to appeal the decision
- In addition, although it is not common, USAC sometimes conducts audits of applicants.
