Getting Help

If you have questions or need help with any aspect of filing, there are several ways to get help:

help

Client Services Bureau: If you are having problems with any aspect of filing, contact the Client Services Bureau by calling (888) 203-8100 Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, or via their online form.

If you want to learn how to perform specific E-rate tasks or want a general overview of the filing process, you have several options:

DPI call-in sessions address filing issues and are synced to the filing timeline. For example, we offer an overview session at the start of the season, a session covering what you need to know and do to file your Form 470 in the fall, and so on. You can ask questions during the sessions.

The DPI Learning Library contains PowerPoints, videos, and recordings of our call-in sessions. [provide link]

USAC‘s video training library includes mini-videos organized by topic (EPC, Form 470, Form 471, and more) and hour-long webinars that walk you through the process of filing the various forms. If you are new E-rate, there is an hour-long recorded video webinar “for beginners.” USAC also provides a PowerPoint presentation [load on DPI site] covering the same material.

DPI’s E-Rate listserv. We announce DPI call-in sessions, as well as all information that Wisconsin applicants need to know, via this listserv. It is critical for you to be on this listserver if you have responsibility for any aspect of E-rate filing at your district. To join, e-mail join-wierate@lists.dpi.wi.gov. You will receive an e-mail from “wierate Confirmation” that contains a link to click on to complete your registration.
