3rd Annual UW-Whitewater Midwest Pitch Competition & High School Survey

UW-Whitewater Midwest High School Pitch Competition - Powered by Geneva Supply/Biz Tank - Wednesday, February 27th, 2019

The Midwest High School Pitch Competition is a startup pitch competition event for high school students based in Wisconsin and Illinois. The purpose of the event is to help foster creativity, innovation and a solution-orientation within high school students and provide them the practical skills of business model development and professional presentation skills. This exciting and educational event is managed by the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization and will be hosted at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. Finalists will win cash prizes including first place which will is one year of free tuition (in-state) to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater!

There are two stages of competition including Stage 1 that requires the completion of an online application that is due by Wednesday, December 5, 2018.  Finalists for Stage 2 will be notified by by UW-Whitewater coordinators to indicate if participants have qualified to attend the Midwest High School Pitch Competition Event scheduled for Wednesday, February 27, 2019.  Non-finalists will also be invited to attend this event.  

Wisconsin school district officials and high school business teachers are encouraged to complete the UW-Whitewater Midwest Pitch Competition - Survey that will take less than five minutes of your time to provide input that will help organizers determine future events details regarding the estimated number of schools and students who will participate in the contest and the optimal date for scheduling the competition events.
