Personal Financial Literacy Professional Development: October 19-20, 2018

Friday, September 14, 2018

Wisconsin schools are in the midst of the their first full school year implementing components of the Wisconsin Act 94 signed on November 30, 2017.  This state legislation required school districts to adopt academic standards for financial literacy and incorporate instruction into the curriculum in grades kindergarten to 12. The act was published on December 1, and therefore became effective on December 2, 2017.

To assist with professional development support for our Wisconsin educators, a collaborative partnership with the Department of Financial Institutions, Economics Wisconsin and Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF) has provided the opportunity for a couple of unique opportunities as listed below:

***If you attend both events, the $65 registration for the Lambeau Field event will be reimbursed and hotel accommodations will be provided for you Oct. 19 at no cost thanks to a generous donation by NGPF***
