DVDs (Audio-Described)

Audio-described DVDs provide descriptive narration of key visual elements during quiet periods in television programs, films, and other visual media adding accessibility to people who are blind or visually impaired. Key visual elements are those that visually impaired viewers would ordinarily miss, such as actions, costumes, gestures, facial expressions and scene changes.

LOAN PERIODS:

  • Limit of 3 titles at a time
  • 1 month loan period
  • No renewals allowed

Although all DVDs are also listed in the Wisconsin Talking Book and Braille Library catalog, many people find the lists below easier to use.
