EdBITS is Back! Wisconsin FBLA Fall Leadership Lab Conference Registration Opens Today

As Wisconsin schools transition into the start of the 2018-2019 school year, Wisconsin Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is ready to help support local chapter members to get off to a great start by attending one of the upcoming Fall Leadership Labs.  Event details may be viewed online at https://dpi.wi.gov/fbla/conferences/leadership-labs along with links to register and apply for a conference registration credit (based upon financial need).  Registration is limited based upon location capacities with registration scheduled to close on Wednesday, October 2018.  Attendees do not have to be registered FBLA members and prospective chapters are encouraged to attend. 

Joining our Wisconsin FBLA state officer team as our keynote speaker at the Fall Leadership Lab events in Appleton (Fox Valley Technical College on October 10), Menomonie (UW-Stout on October 11), and Madison (American Family Insurance Headquarters on October 12) will be our keynote speaker Patrick Grady.

Patrick T. Grady is a former middle school and high school educator who now travels full-time throughout our nation inspiring and encouraging individuals to do their best in all that they attempt. Patrick has more than two decades of experience speaking full time to associations, corporations, chambers of commerce, civic groups, educators and students. Patrick is the author of the book, “Who Packs the Parachute?” and is co-author of “Teen Power Too” and “Teen Power & Beyond.” Patrick is dedicated to helping others to improve themselves through the use of each person’s individual talents, skills, abilities, and mental attitude.

Patrick, a graduate of the University of Florida, is the former vice-president of the Tomorrow’s America Foundation, Inc. (TAF). TAF is an organization that develops and implements leadership workshops for adults and young leaders. He empowers participants to study the principles of motivation, goal setting, group dynamics, communication, free enterprise, belief in self, public speaking, and creative leadership.

Patrick’s speaking provides individuals with numerous keys to successful living. His unique ability to make people laugh keeps audiences on the edge of their seats and wanting more. Thousands of individuals have been inspired and motivated by Patrick’s lighthearted messages.
